FAQ

  • Very much like your own house and care environment, while we strive to create the safest possible environment for all our furry guests, the nature of play and social interaction of dogs is not 100% immune to injuries. It means that sometimes injuries such as (but not limited to) skin punctures or scrapes can occur while playing or socializing. In the event that your dog does get injured at our daycare, here's how we handle the situation:

1- Immediate Care: Our staff is trained to provide prompt and appropriate first aid to address any minor injuries right away.

2- Notification: We will inform you of the incident and the steps we've taken in response.

3- Veterinary Attention: For any injury beyond a minor scrape or bruise that might require veterinarian attention, we immediately inform you for the next steps for your pooch’s care depending on the urgency and your instructions.

4- Review and Prevention: While we have never had any serious injuries happening at our care, rest assured that we will also conduct a thorough review of any incident to understand how it happened and implement any necessary changes to our protocols or environment to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Your pet's safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we are committed to ensuring that our daycare remains a happy and healthy place for all dogs to play, learn, and socialize.

  • Being part of a pack at our doggy daycare is a transformative experience for dogs, tapping into their natural instincts and desire for socialization, hierarchy, and companionship. For many dogs, interacting within a pack can significantly enhance their social skills, teaching them valuable lessons in communication, play behavior, and even problem-solving. This social structure helps dogs feel secure and understood, catering to their inherent pack mentality which is crucial for their emotional well-being.

At HiPooch, while we emphasize the importance of pack integration for social and behavioral development, we also understand the importance of individual care and comfort. To ensure your dog feels at home and maintains their routine, we provide personalized spaces for each pet. Every dog has access to their own personal items, ensuring they can enjoy the familiar scents and comforts of home even while they're with us. This personal space includes their own water and food container, allowing them to eat and drink at their leisure, just as they would at home. This blend of communal play and individual care ensures that every dog enjoys the best of both worlds - the joy of being part of a pack and the comfort of personal, familiar belongings.

Our commitment is to provide a balanced environment where your dog can thrive socially while also feeling safe, loved, and attended to as an individual. This approach helps in minimizing stress and promoting a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted canine companion.

  • At HiPooch, we provide personalized spaces for each pet. We recommend pooch parents to provide personal items such as blanket, bed, or other scented items so that every dog has access to their own personal items, ensuring they can enjoy the familiar scents and comforts of home even while they're with us.

In addition each pooch will have their own sanitized water and food container, allowing them to eat and drink at their leisure, just as they would at home.

Having said that, as you know dogs sometimes prefer sharing and while we provide supervision, we can not guarantee 100% that pooch guests won’t share.

If your dog needs 100% personal food and water container access, please let us know.

  • Boarding is a 24 hr service, it is either 7 am to 7 am, or 6 pm to 6 pm. If you need to leave your pooch for more than 24 hrs when you leave your pooch for boarding (for instance leaving your pooch from morning of the first day until afternoon of the second day) you need to purchase a daycare along with a day of boarding to cover the extra time on the following day.
